Event Details
Empowernent in the Park, a collaborative barbeque organized by and for African American professional and social organizations in the Kansas City Metro area.
This event is being co-facilitated by: National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), 100 Black Men, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), and Urban Financial Services Coalition.
Lunch will include chicken (white & dark meat), ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, bread, soda, punch, and peach cobbler.
***Please note: There will be NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR! Tickets must be purchased prior to August 2, 2007.
Children are allowed but only under strong supervision of the parent. No specific activities for young children will be planned.
